Help! I Need To Get Rid Of Mice Without Poison- I'm Being Overrun With Them!?

We live in the country, and I understand that I am going to have some mice, but I seem to be overrun with them! It's getting to where it is a chore to even function in my kitchen, because I have to sanitize everything before I use it. There is evidence of mice in almost every other room, also! I need an effective, non-poisonous solution! We have 2 cats, and I do not want to harm them with poisoned mice (because they DO catch a lot of mice, but they can't catch them all!!)
