Was Neville Chamberlain correct (he should have known), Jews forced Britain into war against Hitler?

You realise that the Nazis were taking over Europe, had France and took control of our Channel Islands? They also dropped a lot of bombs on London? We were always on the list for invasion. I'd like to think the plight of the Jews was of concern to those in control but we were also under considerable threat ourselves.
